Former police chief collaborates with Cisco to illustrate vision of public safety and technology

CHICAGO–On June 26, 2008, Maron Structure Technologies and Cisco will sponsor a peer discussion geared toward public safety agencies and local governments to address public safety challenges and the benefits associated with new emerging technologies.

Attendees will learn how to positively impact situational awareness, responsiveness, citizen and first responder safety, and emergency communications by building on investments already in place.

Cisco’s global public safety director, Bob Stanberry, will talk about the vision of public safety and technology, as well as its current and future impacts.
.
Stanberry uses his own experience as former police chief in Michigan to explain how technology can increase response times and service effectiveness, while reducing costs.

This event will take place at 8735 W Higgins Suite 300, Chicago, IL from 9:00a.m.-11:30a.m.
